Giants Re-sign Deon Grant

The New York Giants have retained veteran safety Deon Grant. He recorded 72 tackles and three interceptions last season

"I felt like I started something here last year and we didn't finish it," Grant told ESPN New York. "And then with all the things going on in Philly right now, that is a team that I'd love to face. I'm a competitive guy. With them making all the additions that they made, I want to be on the other side of the ball to go against that.

"In the back of my mind, I knew I would be back here. I knew this is where I wanted to be. There were a lot of situations, I was turning them down. And the Giants gave me that phone call." Recommended Stories
