Denver Broncos safety David Bruton's head injury was serious enough that he was wheeled out of the locker room on a gurney and was taken to a hospital via an ambulance, according to the Denver Post

Per the report, Bruton needed a lot of help to get off the fielf after a second-half injury. A reserve safety from Notre Dame, Bruton is regarded as a key special-teams contributor. For more coverage of the NFL, go to our home page at www.profootball.scout.com. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider
