The Denver Broncos declared that Kyle Orton is their starting quarterback. Broncos coach John Fox made the announcement today.

Orton had clearly established himself as the Broncos' top option over Brady Quinn and Tim Tebow.

No backup was named, but Quinn seems to have overtaken Tebow.

Against the Buffalo Bills, Orton completed 10 of 13 passes for a 135.1 passer rating. For more coverage of the NFL, go to www.profootball.scout.com.
