Redskins: Jarvis Jenkins tore his ACL

Washington Redskins rookie defensive lineman Jarvis Jenkins tore his anterior cruciate ligament. Jenkins injured his knee during the first half of the Redskins 34-31 loss to the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium

The second-round draft pick underwent a magnetic resonance imaging exam today, revealing the extent of the damage.

Jenkins will have surgery to repair the damage, and the former Clemson standout will be placed on injured reserve.
