Byron Leftwich breaks arm

The Pittsburgh Steelers caught a bad break tonight. Backup quarterback Byron Leftwich broke his left arm, coach Mike Tomlin announced after the game. Leftwich is expected to be placed on injured reserve

Leftwich got hurt in the third quarter. With Leftwich hurt, the Steelers won't necessarily be in the market for a replacement quarterback>

Instead of cutting one of those players during the final roster cutdown, now the Steelers are simply happy they held on to both viable backup possibilities to star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
