Michael Vick signed to $100 million deal

Michael Vick broke the bank. The Philadelphia Eagles signed their star quarterback to a six-year, $100 million contract.

According to ESPN, he received about $40 million in guaranteed money.

Vick was due $16 million for the season under the franchise tag, but now the Eagles have even more salary-cap space after their spending spree. Vick made the Pro Bowl last year, two years after serving time in Leavenworth federal prison for his involvement in a dogfighting ring.
