Dolphins re-sign RB Larry Johnson

The Miami Dolphins have re-signed former Pro Bowl running back Larry Johnson. Released during the Dolphins' final major roster cutdown, Johnson was brought back on a one-year deal as the team waived offensive guard Ray Feinga. Johnson, 31, has gained 6,221 career yards with 55 touchdowns scored during previous stints with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Washington Redskins

During the preseason, Johnson rushed for 46 yards on 12 carries. He did show some burst on a 22-yard touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys. The Dolphins have three other running backs on the roster: Reggie Bush, Daniel Thomas and Lex Hilliard.
