The New York Giants have agreed to terms with veteran wide receiver Brandon Stokley, according to his agent, Rick Smith. Smith had agreed to terms with the Washington Redskins earlier this summer, but backed out of the deal due to the crowded receiver depth chart with Santana Moss, Jabar Gaffney and Donte' Stallworth.

Stokley, 35, is an accomplished, sure-handed slot wide receiver expected to challenge for the third wide receiver spot.

Stokley caught 31 passes for 354 yards last season with the Seattle Seahawks.

He has previous stints with the Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens.

For his career, Stokley has caught 338 passes for 4,673 yards and 34 touchdowns. For more coverage of the NFL go to Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider
