Dolphins sign Igor Olshansky

The Miami Dolphins have signed former Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Igor Olshansky, according to his agent, Chase Callahan. Olshansky has also played for the San Diego Chargers. The Dolphins cut former Pro Bowl running back Larry Johnson to make room for Olshansky. Olshansky was signed by the Cowboys two years ago after starting his career with the Chargers.

The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder has recorded 257 tackles and 12 1/2 sacks. He was picked by the Chargers in the second round of the 2004 NFL draft.

Olshansky, 29, played collegiately at Oregon. For more coverage of the Dolphins go to Dolphin Digest at Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Recommended Stories
