Jason Babin criticizes NFL after fine

Fined for his shot on San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith this week, Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Jason Babin lashed out at the NFL today. The league office is following a directive from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to protect quarterbacks.

“Attn:Guy at the NFL that decides on who and how much players get fined,” Babin wrote on his Twitter account. “Stop being a puppet, if you want to protect QB’s, get better linemen." Babin leads the NFL with seven sacks.
