Bryan Thomas to IR

The New York Jets placed outside linebacker Bryan Thomas on injured reserve with an Achilles' injury, officially ending his season. They replaced him on the active roster with rookie linebacker Eddie Jones, promoting him from the practice squad. Jones went undrafted out of the University of Texas.

He was signed by the Jets on Aug. 9 and cut on Sept. 2 before being signed to the practice squad on Sept. 28.
