Marcus Benard breaks hand in accident

Cleveland Browns reserve defensive lineman Marcus Benard broke his hand during a motorcycle accident after practice today. According to team, Benard is in stable condition at the Cleveland Clinic and is expected to remain in the hospital overnight for observation.

Benard has played in every game this season. It's possible he might have to go on injured reserve, though.

Benard led the Browns last season with 7 1/2 sacks. He's expected to make a complete recovery to play again. For more coverage of the Browns, go to the Orange & Brown Report at cle.scout.com.
