New York Giants safety Kenny Phillips has been fined $20,000 by the league office for his hit on Seattle Seahawks tight end Zach Miller. Phillips was punished for a hit on a defenseless receiver. Fines escalate with each infraction. This marks Phillips' second fine of the year.

He was previously fined $10,000 this season. That was for a hit against Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis.
