Willis McGahee breaks his hand

Denver Broncos running Willis McGahee is set to have his broken finger in his right hand repaired Tuesday and will be sidelined at least for this week's game against the Detroit Lions, and perhaps the next game against the Oakland Raiders. McGahee broke the fourth metacarpal in an overtime loss against the Miami Dolphins.

McGahee rushed for 76 yards on 18 carries against Miami, and has gained 456 yards to lead the team. Knowshon Moreno will start at running back with Lance Ball backing him up.
