Edelman arrested on indecent battery charge

New England Patriots wide receiver was arrested last night and charged with indecent assault and battery on a woman, according to the Boston Globe. Per the report, Edelman was arrested after police spoke with the alleged female victim. He's free on bail and due in court today.

Edelman allegedly reached underneath the woman's Halloween costume and groped her below the waist, according to police.

Edelman was confronted by a man with the alleged victim, and the man threatened the NFL player. Edeleman and the man and woman were thrown out of the nightclub by bouncers.
