Oakland Raiders linebacker Aaron Curry has been fined $20,000 by the league office for his roughing the passer infraction for his hit on Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, according to the NFL Curry hit Tebow above the strike zone, making contact in the helmet and neck.

The former Seattle Seahawks first-round draft pick was also fined $10,000 for a late hit earlier this season.

The NFL increases fines on a sliding scale for repeat offenders.
