And the Bills filled the roster spots by promoting defensive back Josh Nesbitt from the practice squad and signed defensive end Kyle Moore to the active roster.
Nesbitt has spent the first 10 weeks of the season on the practice squad after joining the Bills as an undrafted free agent in July. The 6-1, 215-pound Georgia Tech product finished his collegiate career as the Atlantic Coast Conference leading rusher at the quarterback position with 2,806 yards and 35 touchdowns.
Moore has spent the first 10 weeks of the season on the Detroit Lions’ practice squad. The 6-6, 272-pound USC product entered the NFL as a fourth-round (117th overall) draft pick of Tampa Bay in 2009. He has played in 15 games and totaled 28 tackles.
The Bills also signed wide receiver Tim Toone to the practice squad.
