The Minnesota Vikings bave signed veteran cornerback Benny Sapp, reuniting with a player traded last year to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for wide receiver Greg Camarillo. Cut by the Dolphins, Sapp now rejoins the Vikings after cornerback Antoine Winfield was placed on injured reserve. Winfield suffered a broken clavicle during Monday night's loss to the Green Bay Packers.

The injury will require surgery to repair the damage.

Sapp is in his eighth season in the NFL after playing collegiately at Northern Iowa.
