Rex Ryan fined $75,000

Outspoken New York Jets coach Rex Ryan crossed the line, and now it's going to cost him. Ryan is taking a hit in his bank account, fined $75,000 by the NFL for cursing at a fan at halftime of a loss to the New England Patriots. Ryan was captured on video telling a fan to "shut up" and also cursing.

He has since apologized, saying that he "was full of emotion and just popped off. Sometimes, my emotions get the best of me." Ryan was previously fined $50,000 by the Jets for flipping off a fan at a mixed martial arts event in February.

Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum said that Ryan's behavior was unacceptable.
