Jaguars IR Robiskie, promote Irvin

The Jacksonville Jaguars placed wide receiver Brian Robiskie on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury. Robiskie was previously with the Cleveland Browns. Defensive tackle Corvey Irvin was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad. The club added third-year wide receiver Charly Martin to the practice squad

He was a third-round draft pick of the Carolina Panthers two years ago and spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve after suffering a torn medial collateral ligament in his right knee in the preseason finale.

He spent the first 13 weeks of 2010 on the Panthers practice squad before being signed to the active roster. He was signed to Detroit's practice squad on Sept. 5 and was waived on Oct. 12.

Martin played in eight games the last two seasons for Carolina. He spent the preseason with the Panthers before being waived on Sept. 3.

He saw action in seven games in 2009 after being signed to the active roster from the practice squad and had one reception for six yards.

Martin played in one game in 2010 before being placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. He was originally signed as a rookie free agent by San Diego in 2009.
