Britt cleared of charges

Kenny Britt picked up a legal victory today. The Tennessee Titans' wide receiver's case of two misdemeanor counts of supplying false information on a drivers license application was dropped by prosecutors, according to the Tennessean.

Britt testified before a review board that he didn't know his license was suspended in New Jersey.

Britt got in trouble when it was believed he lied on his Tennessee drivers license application. Britt had stated that his license had never been suspended. >

Britt, who's out for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, has another pending case in New Jersey that's set for Dec. 27, a disorderly persons charge.
