Bills sign DL Jarron Gilbert

The Buffalo Bills have signed former New York Jets and Chicago Bears defensive lineman Jarron Gilbert. They cut linebacker Antonio Coleman to make room for him on the roster.

Gilbert has spent most of the last two seasons on the Jets' practice squad. He appeared in one game for the Jets against Buffalo, recording one tackle for a two-yard loss. The athletic 6-foot-5, 285-pound San Jose St. product originally entered the NFL as a third-round draft choice of the Bears in 2009. Gilbert appeared in four games with the Bears before being released prior to the 2010 season.
