Paul Soliai replaces Ngata in Pro Bowl

Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Paul Soliai has replaced injured Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata in the Pro Bowl. . “It’s an honor to be named to the Pro Bowl,” Soliai said. “I am looking forward to going to Hawaii and representing the Dolphins as well as the AFC, I would like to thank everyone who helped me get here.”

“I want to congratulate Paul on being named to the Pro Bowl,” Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland said. “It is a well-deserved honor and is a reward for the hard work and commitment he showed in 2011.”

Soliai finished the season with 27 tackles, two tackles for loss and two passes defensed.

Soliai becomes the third member of the Dolphins selected to the Pro Bowl, joining left tackle Jake Long and wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
