The Kansas City Chiefs have shifted former New England Patriots offensive tackle Steve Maneri to tight end. He even has a new jersey number befitting his new position: No. 87. Maneri, 23, played collegiately at Temple, beginning his career with the Houston Texans after going undrafted.

Maneri is in the blocking tight end category primarily at 6-foot-6, 290 pounds. He caught 38 passes for 421 yards and nine touchdowns at Temple. He started one of six games last season for Kansas City.
