The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed former Cincinnati Bengals tight end Chase Coffman. Coffman, 25, is a former Mizzou standout who was drafted three years ago by the Bengals in the third round. Coffman is a sure-handed tight end who runs crisp routes, but the 6-foot-6, 250-pounder isn't regarded as a strong blocker. Coffman has three receptions for 30 yards, appearing in six games two seasons ago

He caught no passes as a rookie in 2009.

Coffman was a Bengals practice squad member last season.

However, he was cut by Cincinnati prior to the playoffs where they lost in the wild-card round to the Houston Texans.
