Former Stanford offensive guard David DeCastro has been working out at the Athletes' Performance Institute in Phoenix, Arizona in preparation for the NFL Combine and Draft.

Former Stanford offensive guard David DeCastro didn't start playing football until he got into high school. He was intrigued by how "fun" football looked and soon realized how challenging the game was, which only lit his fire more.

DeCastro chose the Cardinal because he knew football wouldn't last forever, making it important he receive a good education and is leaving four years later with good memories and relationships.

As he reflects upon his collegiate career, he has some advice for younger players: "Keep working hard. Don't look too far ahead and just enjoy it. Be happy every day with what you have, but never be satisfied."

As DeCastro was training for the combine at the Athletes' Performance Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, FOX Sports NEXT was able to catch up with him to talk his football career, his intense training schedule, and more:
