Chargers ink Meacham to four-year deal

The San Diego Chargers have signed former New Orleans Saints wide receiver Robert Meachem to a four-year deal, the team announced. The contract carries a total value of $25.9 million and includes $14 million in guaranteed money, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.

Meachem met with the Buffalo Bills prior to inking with the Chargers.

Meacham caught 40 passes for 620 yards and six touchdowns last season.

The speedy 6-foot-2, 210-pounder from Tennessee has caught 141 career passes for 2,269 yards and 23 touchdowns.
