Fullback Felton joins Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings have signed former Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers fullback Jerome Felton following his visit today. Felton is a former Detroit Lions fifth-round draft pick from Furman who has started 19 career games. Felton started for the Lions in the past, but was cut on Aug. 30.

Claimed by the Panthers, Felton was a starter before being cut. He has played in nine games this season with one start.

For his career, Felton has rushed for 136 yards and caught 32 passes.

Felton has four years of experience, spending last year with At Furman, he set a school record with 56 career touchdowns.
