Giants re-sign David Carr

The New York Giants have re-signed backup quarterback David Carr, the team announced. The former Houston Texans top overall pick has also played for the San Francisco 49ers.

For his career, Carr has passed for 14,433 yards, 65 touchdowns and 71 interfceptions.
