Special-teams ace Tim Shaw rejoins Titans

Veteran free agent linebacker and special-teams ace Tim Shaw has re-signed with the Tennessee Titans, inking a three-year contract. Shaw had visited the Detroit Lions during free agency. Over the past three years, Shaw ranks in the top three in the NFL with 52 special-teams tackles

Shaw, 27, is a 6-foot-1, 236-pound former Penn State player who has played for the Titans for the past two seasons.

Shaw has also played for the Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Carolina Panthers. For his career, Shaw has 83 tackles and two forced fumbles.
