49ers sign Brett Swain

The San Francisco 49ers agreed to terms on a one-year deal with wide receiver Brett Swain, according to his agent. Swain is a former Green Bay Packers seventh-round draft pick who caught six passes for 72 yards with three tackles on special teams two seasons ago.

Signed by the 49ers in October, Swain caught two passes for 15 yards and started the final game of the regular season.

A restricted free agent who didn't receive a qualifying offer, Swain didn't draw much interest as a free agent.
