Raiders re-sign safety Matt Giordano

The Oakland Raiders have re-signed veteran safety Matt Giordano, the team announced tonight. Giordano, 29, recorded 70 tackles, five interceptions and one forced fumble last season, his first with the Raiders. Giordano is a 5-foot-10, 210-pound former Cal-Berkeley standout

He has previous stints with the New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers and the Indianapolis Colts.

For his career, he has registered 155 tackles, eight interceptions, one sack and 12 pass deflections.
