The New York Giants have re-signed middle linebacker Chase Blackburn. His contract expired after last season when Blackburn contributed to the Giants' Super Bowl championship.

A former undrafted free agent who has been with the Giants since his rookie year seven years ago, Blackburn intercepted Tom Brady during the Giants' 21-17 win over the New England Patriots.

During the postseason, the special-teams ace finished second on the Giants' defense with 25 tackles.
