The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed sixth-round cornerback Mike Harris to a four-year, $2.216 million contract. The deal includes base salaries of $390,000, $480,000, $570,000 and $660,000. Harris played collegiately at Florida State.

Harris played for the Seminoles for two seasons after transferring from El Camino Community College.

At Florida State, Harris recorded 99 tackles, one sack and six tackles for losses with five interceptions and two forced fumbles.

The Jaguars re-signed rookie free agent cornerback and return specialist Dontrell Johnson. He was cut on May 14 when the Jaguars signed kicker Brandon Coutu.

The Jaguars cut former Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts cornerback Morgan Trent to make room for Johnson.
