Chiefs sign Abram Elam

Veteran safety Abe Elam has joined the Kansas City Chiefs. Elam recently visited the Chiefs and Tennessee Titans. Elam, 30, started every game last season for the Dallas Cowboys. He recorded 68 tackles and one forced fumble. Elam has previous stints with the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets and spent his rookie year in Dallas

He has 373 career tackles, five sacks and three interceptions with 17 pass deflections and eight forced fumbles.
