Bengals linebacker Dontay Moch suspended

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Dontay Moch has been suspended for the first four games of the NFL season, according to a league source. The reason for the punishment is undisclosed. According to a source, it's for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy. Moch, 23, is a 6-foot-2, 241-pound former third-round draft pick from the University of Nevada.

Moch broke his foot and recorded no tackles last season as a rookie. A former first-team All-Western Athletic Conference selection, Moch was named the WAC Defensive Player of the Year two years ago. At the NFL scouting combine, Moch ran a 4.44 in the 40-yard dash for the best time among all linebackers and defensive linemen.
