A 6-foot-3, 250-pounder, Robinson entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Jackson State and signed with the New York Jets in May.
Prior to entering the NFL, he started 31 games at Jackson State, finishing his college career with 181 tackles and 30 sacks.
As a senior, he was a Football Championship Subdivision honorable mention All-American and second team all-SWAC selection after recording 58 tackles, 23 1/2 tackles for a loss, 16 sacks, four pass defenses and one fumble recovery.
