The Oakland Raiders have traded veteran wide receiver Louis Murphy to the Carolina Panthers for conditional 2013 draft pick, the AFC West franchise announced. It's expected to be a later-round selection. The Raiders' primary wide receivers are Denarius Moore and Darrius Heyward-Bey.

A former fourth-round draft pick from the University of Florida, Murphy caught 90 passes for the Raiders for 1,371 yards and six touchdowns.

Two seasons ago, he caught a career-high 41 passes for 609 yards.
