Chargers sign DT Aubrayo Frank

The San Diego Chargers have signed defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin to a one-year contract. Franklin started nine games last season for the New Orleans Saints, registering 17 tackles. Franklin is a 6-foot-1, 317-pounder from the University of Tennessee who hasn't missed a game since the 2007 season. He has 204 career tackles

Franklin is a former Baltimore Ravens fifth-round draft pick who has also played for the San Francisco 49ers.

Franklin played for the 49ers for four years, starting 60 of 64 games.

In 2008, he registered a career-high 46 tackles.
