Former Cleveland Browns offensive guard Eric Steinbach has joine the Miami Dolphins on a one-year contract, according to agent Jack Bechta. Steinbach is a former Pro Bowl alternate who missed last season with a back injury that required surgery. He recently worked out for the Baltimore Ravens. Steinbach had a procedure to remove a disc fragment from his spinal nerve

Steinbach is a former Cincinnati Bengals second-round draft pick.

Steinbach was signed to a seven-year, $49.5 million contract by the Browns in 2007 and was named a Pro Bowl alternate that season.

He was cut on March 14. Steinbach recently displayed that his back is healthy now during a YouTube video where he flips truck tires and performs deadlifts with heavy chains wrapped around the weight bar.
