Is this the end for Terrell Owens ?

This might spell the end of Terrell Owens' career. The 38-year-old wide receiver was cut by the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Owens struggled with his hands for the Seahawks.

"I'm no longer a Seahawk," Owens wrote on his Twiter account. "I THANK the organization 4 the opportunity, I'm truly blessed beyond belief. My FAITH is intact & will NOT waiver."

Owens' one-year contract was terminated after he caught just two passes in two preseason games.

He dropped a potential touchdown pass against the Denver Broncos.

He did register one 40-yard reception.

"Terrell came in here and busted his tail and he looked really effective right from the start," Seattle coach Pete Carroll told reporters. "But as we just took a look at our guys that are coming through the program and growing up with us we thought that it would be best for us to stay with those guys."

Owens didn't play last season after undergoing surgery on his left knee. For his career, Owens has caught 1,088 passes for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns.

There was no controversy surrounding Owens during his brief time in Seattle, only a far to quiet performance on the field.

NOTE: The Seahawks also cut offensive guard Deuce Lutui, offensive tackle Alex Barron, wide receiver Phil Bates, offensive tackle Edawn Coughman, cornerback Donny Lisowski, cornerback Ron Parker, running back Tyrell Sutton. Plus, they waived-injured linebacker Jameson Konz, defensive tackle Lazarius Levingston, cornerback Roy Lewis and tight end Cameron Morrah.

They can go to injured reserve if they clear waivers.
