Michael Turner arrested for DUI

Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and speeding following a victory over the Denver Broncos. Turner scored a touchdown against the Broncos. Turner is out on $2,179 bond after heading to jail at Gwinnett County Jail.

Turner could be punished by the NFL depending on the adjudication of the case.

"We are aware of the situation involving Michael and are in the process of gathering more information," the Falcons said in a statement. "Because this is now a legal matter, the club will have no further comment at this time.”
