Adrian Wilson's time in Arizona ends

When Adrian Wilson suits up for the 2013 season, he won't be wearing the familiar red and black uniform he's been associated with for over a decade.

Wilson was released by the Arizona Cardinals on Friday, the organization announced. Wilson spent 12 seasons with the Cardinals.

Like a lot of teams are doing right now, Arizona released Wilson for financial reasons. The Cardinals will save an estimated $3 million in cap space by terminating Wilson's contract.

Though Wilson's already had a long NFL career, by no means does he look finished. Wilson figures to latch on with another team for the upcoming 2013 season.
