Jamie Newberg's Notes:
This is an explosive linebacker that runs well and has a 38-inch vertical jump and a 10+ foot broad jump. Moore is also strong with 28 reps on the bench press in Indy at NFL Combine. Those are some super measurable to match with his very good play. This past season he had 75 tackles, 7.5 sacks, and 15.5 tackles for a loss. Moore also had 11 pass breakups. This kid is active and everywhere.

Banks came to Starkville as a safety but made the switch to cornerback during his sophomore season. His best year was in 2011, where Banks had five interceptions, three sacks and forced three fumbles. He possesses outstanding size for the position, is tough in the air and excels in run support. Big corners that can really play the position are just too hard to find.

Jamie Newberg's Notes:
A big reason why Armstead went to Pine Bluff is that they agreed to let him participate in track and field. There, he was an eight time champion and shot put record holder in the SWAC. Armstead stunned the NFL Combine running a 4.71 forty at 306-pounds. He also had a vertical jump of 34", and did 31 reps on the bench press. This is a kid who's a super athletic, has tremendous feet and a lot of raw ability. Armstead needs to work on technique and put it all together. There's no question he has all the physical tools to be a starter in the NFL. Don't be surprised if he doesn't get out of the second round. He has had quite a right over the last few months.

There's no question that Nassib was a quarterback that improved greatly during his time at Syracuse. This past season in 2012 Nassib really came into his own. He threw for 3,749 yards, 26 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, surprising many and leading the Orange to an 8-5 campaign. This is a smart quarterback that knows where to go with the football. He has good arm strength, toughness in the pocket and plays with a lot of poise. I also like his anticipation when throwing timing routes.

Okafor finished the last two seasons with 29 tackles for a loss and 19.5 sacks. He had a good week in Mobile, Ala. at the Senior Bowl and had some impressive reps against Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher. He may not be elite at this point in any one phase of his play but Okafor is solid against the run and as a pass rusher. Okafor is also a very intelligent player.

Bell runs a tad high and lacks elite speed. He has good balance and vision. He proved while a Spartan to be a go-to who can carry a run game. Bell can be a steal for one NFL team.

Short showed his versatility for the Boilermakers, playing different interior line positions. He almost declared for draft after last year but stayed. Short's versatile and can play in either the 3-4 or 4-3. Short is smart, strong and has a good first step. The knock to his game is that he doesn't bring it on every single snap. When Short does he's a force.

There's no question that Bray has an NFL arm and the strongest one of this year's draft prospects at quarterback. He can make every throw and it's that mindset that sometimes gets him in trouble. If he can make better decisions with the ball there's no question he could have a long career in pro football. He's also added much needed weight to his 6-foot-6 frame. Bray is now 232-pounds and seems like a much more mature person. If he has grown up and continues to put in the work Bray has a very high ceiling.

Jamie Newberg's Notes:
I see Franklin being a good compliment to an established running back in the league. This is a kid that has good, quick feet and balance, two key traits for a running back. He's a one-cut back with deceptive power, good speed and vision. Six fumbles in 2011 were a big concern for Franklin. But this past year he had a nice season, rushing for over 1,700 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Jamie Newberg's Notes:
Holloman came into to Columbia as a safety and played strong safety for his first three seasons but moved to the South Carolina 'Spur' position as a senior and shined. There, he was a hybrid safety/linebacker. This is a physical defender that runs well who finally filled out his frame and still has room to grow. Holloman is a big hitter with a lot of upside in the NFL.

Thomas is a playmaker. He had 13 career interceptions and forced six fumbles. Thomas is a physical presence at the safety position. He's versatile enough to play either strong or free but likely plays the later. Thomas doesn't have elite speed but shows good range and puts himself in good position to make plays. Prior to the 2011 season he broken his leg and ankle.

Gooden made a successful transition from safety to linebacker. He has to be one of the most athletic defensive prospects in this class. He had a really good combine showing, running 4.47 in the forty and broad jumping close to 11'. This is a speedy linebacker that can play in space.

Davis surprised many and blazed a 4.37 forty at the NFL combine, had a 33.5" vertical jump, did 31 reps on the bench press, and broad jumped over 10'. This is a strong runner with very good speed and home run ability. His big issue is just staying healthy. He came back from a knee injury this past season. In 2010 he rushed for over 1,300 yards.

Jones leaves Norman with 50 career starts and a ton of experience. He finished as the Big 12 leader in career passing yards with 16,646. This is a classic, prototype from the pocket signal caller with very good size, arm strength and quicker release. But he becomes flawed under pressure from the defense and too often his eyes go from down field to bracing for the oncoming traffic in the pocket.

In only 11 games this season Simon put up some big numbers for the Buckeyes, finishing with 14.5 tackles for a loss and nine sacks. He's not a guy that's going to knock your socks off at a combine or pro day. But this kid is football player and will come ready on Sunday. Simon best suited to play outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme. This kid plays with a non-stop motor and is relentless on the field. He's strong and physical. At times can play stiff and he may struggle in space on Sundays.

The Honey Badger went from almost winning the Heisman to being kicked off the LSU football team for drug use in a few short months. Now he has to prove to the NFL that the past is behind him. Mathieu had to have a strong showing at the NFL Combine. He ran 4.5 [forty] and looked very good in drills. Just has important for Mathieu was interviewing well with the NFL scouts and coaches and answering all their questions regarding his checkered past. This is a ball hawk and playmaker that should remind many of Tampa Bay's Ronde Barber.

Lemonier was first team All-SEC as a sophomore when he recorded 13.5 tackles for a loss and 9.5 sacks.
