Here's a look at the roster moves in the AFC South and a look at each team's needs for draft…
2014 draft picks: 1st round (1), 2(33), 3(65), 4(101), 4(135), 5(141), 6(177), 6(181), 6(211), 7(216), 7(256)
To say the Texans were the big disappoint of 2013 would be a huge understatement. Houston lost their last 14 games and finished with only two wins. Gone is coach Gary Kubiak along with quarterback Matt Schaub. The new sheriff in town is Billy O'Brien. His first order of business is to find their franchise quarterback.
The big question with the Texans is will they select a quarterback with the first pick of the draft or go with the freakish defensive end from South Carolina, Jadeveon Clowney? I have mocked Clowney to Houston since the draft order was set months ago. They will be in position with their second pick to find a good quarterback that fits the value, if they choose to wait. There is certainly a lot of drama with what the Texans will ultimately do.
Houston could use help on both the inside and outside spots. To be honest, Khalil Mack would be more of an ideal fit in their defensive scheme then Clowney. It wouldn't surprise me to see him in play with their top pick. Inside linebacker Brian Cushing missed a good portion of last season with a broken leg and knee injury. Can he get back to his play of old and stay healthy? The Texans certainly need some insurance here.
Plain and simple Houston needs to acquire more depth here.
4. Tight End
You better have a compliment of tight ends for an O'Brien offense. They should be on the hunt for a tight end in this draft.
5. Running Back
They lost Ben Tate but picked up Andre Brown. When healthy, Brown is pretty good and should be a nice compliment to Arian Foster. But Foster is getting up there with a lot of wear on the tires.
