Cactus Bowl: Practice Reports

This little game in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas has been a gem, producing the likes of Dominic Rhodes, Khalid Abdullah and Lee Woodall. It withstood unfounded rumors of its' financial demise this year and is ready to kick-off tomorrow evening. Close to 100 scouts from every team lined the practices daily and here's an idea of what they saw.

Players at the Cactus Bowl worked hard, very hard.  After a pro-timing in the 40-yard dash on Monday, each team participated in two-a-day practices up until Thursday, the day before kick-off.  The weather in Kingsville, Texas this week has been raw, with cold temperatures early in the week and rain today.  Still, a lot has happened.
