Scouting Report: Franklin Wallace

Scouting Report: Franklin Wallace

Name Franklin Wallace School Marshall
Ht: 5-9 Wt: 185 40: 4.55

Bio: Posted 132/729/6 on the ground as a senior when he was rotated into the starting lineup. Struggled through an injury plagued junior campaign and totaled only 129/614/7. Led the team in rushing as both a freshman and sophomore posting 100/555/7 and 152/796/9, respectively.

Pos: Smart, instinctive ball carrier that's been consistent at the college level. Runs with patience, waits for blocks to develop and finds the open lanes. Displays top vision, will pick and choose his spots and runs with excellent balance. Good footwork, can turn the corner and a solid pass catcher.

Neg: Not a back that picks up much yardage off initial contact. Lacks explosion or the ability to run to daylight.

Analysis: Though no single aspect of his game stands out, Wallace is a versatile ball handler with multiple skills that could be used as a third down back at the next level.
