Prospect Profile: Jeremy Thomas
Ht: 5-11 Wt: 241 40: 4.81 Year: 5Sr
Bio: Two-year starter who carried the ball just seven times for 11 yards as a senior, after 24/62/ 2 as a junior.
Positives: Nasty, lead-blocking fullback in the traditional mold. Displays outstanding vision, quickly picks up blitzes and attacks assignments. Always looking for someone to hit, uses all his assets to the best of his ability and concentrates throughout the play. Squares into opponents and takes them out. Adequate hands out of the backfield.
Negatives: Not quick out of his stance or through the hole. Lacks the speed to get outside around tackle and create space for the ball carrier. Only average footwork in pass protection.
Analysis: Possessing marginal offensive skills for the next level, Thomas has a slight chance to make a roster that employs a power running game. Must make his mark on special teams.
