Scouting the MAC: Akron
Receiver Domenik Hixon is a solid intermediate range
target who effectively uses his
frame to shield away opponents, displaying top eye\hand coordination and good
focus. Hixon does body catch and loses out in battles. His value at the next level will be as a kick return
specialist.
Nose guard at Kiki Gonzales is a quick lineman with the great
first step off the snap and excellent power. Getting push up the field, Gonzales
consistently finds himself doubled in the middle of the line. Possessing only a
short area burst of speed, he lacks top size and is more of a straight line run
stuffer.
