Scouting the WAC:  New Mexico State

Inside linebacker Jimmy Cottrell is the tackling machine constantly around the ball. Instinctive, Cotrell's a tough defender who squares into ball carriers and wraps up tackling. Displaying coverage skill in zone, his best shot at the next level is on the inside in a 34 defense.
